10 Canadian Intimates Brands to Support Before They’re Gone

Back in 2020, I put together a list of ethical intimates brands—only to look back years later and realize that most of them no longer exist. Running a small, ethical business is already an uphill battle, but throw in inflation, rising production costs, and an impending tariff war with the U.S., and it’s no wonder that so many beloved brands have quietly shuttered.

The reality? These brands don’t survive without consumer support. While we all love a good deal, fast fashion’s grip on the lingerie market has made it harder than ever for small, independent labels to thrive. So, if you want your favourite Canadian intimates brands to stick around, now’s the time to put your money where your values are.

Here are 10 Canadian brands making beautiful, well-crafted intimates that you can feel good about wearing—and even better about supporting.

Cureus Label (Toronto)

Cureus Label may be a newer name in the Canadian intimates scene, but it’s already making waves with its effortlessly sensual, wire-free lingerie. Founded by mother-daughter duo Nataly and Pilar Cure, this Toronto-based brand blends modern design with Latin heritage, challenging outdated norms around femininity and sensuality. One standout? The Flutter Bodysuit, a sultry yet wearable piece that plays with sheer details, a diamond cutout, and cheeky ruffle trim for the perfect balance of comfort and coquette.

Sizing: XS to XL

DAUB (Vancouver)

If you’ve ever struggled to find the perfect no-show undies, DAUB has you covered—literally. My personal favourite for a seamless look under jeans, DAUB’s Seamless Undies are ultra-stretchy, breathable, and hand-dyed for a one-of-a-kind finish.

Designed with comfort in mind, these undies feature a soft, thin fabric that moves with you, plus a cotton gusset for extra breathability. Whether you’re hitting the gym, running errands, or just lounging at home, they stay put without any digging or rolling.

Sizing: S to XL

HIRRS (Vancouver)

For those who want their intimates to be as functional as they are sexy, HIRRS delivers. Made from micro-fine mesh, their wire-free bras and undies offer breathable, barely-there support that moves with you. Designed to eliminate unnecessary frills—no tags, no clasps, no discomfort—HIRRS is all about effortless comfort with a sleek, minimalist edge. Whether you’re lounging or on the go, these pieces prove that performance and style can go hand in hand.

Sizing: XXS to XL

Huha (Vancouver)

When it comes to everyday underwear, Huha is my go-to. Designed with breathability in mind, their Mineral Undies are made from TENCEL™ and SMARTCEL—tree-derived, zinc-infused materials that help keep things fresh, dry, and irritation-free.

Born out of a need for underwear that actually supports vaginal health (because let’s be real, polyester and nylon aren’t doing us any favours), Huha is changing the game with soft, antimicrobial fabrics and a full-coverage lining unique to their designs.

Sizing: 2XS to 3XL

Love & Nudes (Toronto)

If you’ve ever struggled to find a true nude bra that actually matches your skin tone, Love & Nudes is here to change that. Designed specifically for women of colour, this Toronto-based brand offers inclusive nude shades ranging from golden honey to deep espresso—because “nude” should never be a one-shade-fits-all situation.

Sizing: 32 A/B to 38 C/D for bras and S to XL for bottoms

Mary Young (Toronto)

Soft, stretchy, and made to actually be lived in, Mary Young is all about wire-free, fuss-free intimates that put comfort first. Ethically made with OEKO-TEX certified bamboo rayon, their pieces are as gentle on your skin as they are on the planet. No fast fashion here—just sustainable fabrics, low-waste production, and zero single-use plastics. If you’re after effortlessly cool lingerie that won’t dig, poke, or pinch, consider this your sign to make the switch.

Sizing: XS to 2XL

Revol Cares (Vancouver)

Leaks? Stressing over backup tampons? Constantly checking the clock? Revol Cares says enough already. Their period panties are designed for heavy bleeders who need all-day protection without sacrificing comfort. Soft, sexy, and PFAS-free, these undies banish leaks for good—so you can actually live your life. Ethically made with rigorously tested, toxin-free fabrics, Revol proves that period products can be safe, sustainable, and actually do their job.

Sizing: XXS to 7X

Savour Lingerie (Vancouver)

For lingerie that’s flirty and wearable Savour Lingerie delivers. Ethically made in Vancouver, their small-batch, made-to-order pieces strike the perfect balance between sultry and effortless. Their most-requested Shelby Tie Top is the top of my list—a fitted lace number with delicate ties down the front—proves that lingerie isn’t just for the bedroom.

With Oeko-Tex certified materials (aka no sketchy dyes) and a commitment to sustainability, Savour creates intimates that are sexy without the guilt trip. Because confidence looks best when it’s actually comfortable.

Sizing: XS to XL

Sewn (Calgary)

Sewn Intimates is all about romance—both in the form of delicate lace and florals and in the way each piece is designed to make you fall in love with your body. Handmade in Calgary in small, sustainable batches, these pieces embrace whimsy, softness, and the many forms the female body takes. Whether you’re drawn to dreamy florals, minimal lace, or effortlessly sheer silhouettes, each design is crafted with care—no mass production, no waste, just ethically made lingerie that feels as good as it looks.

Sizing: XS to L

Understance (Vancouver)

The most traditional lingerie brand on this list—but in the best way—Understance offers the widest range of sizes and styles, making it the go-to for those who want their bras to actually fit. With a focus on thoughtful design and comfort, they’re proving that a well-made bra doesn’t need a reinvention, just a much-needed reform.

With the most SKUs of any brand here, they cater to a wide variety of body types, offering inclusive sizing without compromising on style or support. Their commitment to ethical manufacturing, sustainable practices, and zero Photoshop fakery makes them a standout in the intimates game.

Sizing: Up to an N-cup for bras and XS to 6XL for bottoms

Spent the afternoon with @cnibfoundation and @moll Spent the afternoon with @cnibfoundation and @mollyburkeofficial getting braille manicures at @thetenspot and honestly left with way more than cute nails.

Molly shared smart, very doable tips on making social media more inclusive and accessible across a range of disabilities and one thing she said really stuck with me. Being disabled is the only minority group that anyone can join at any time, without warning. A reminder that accessibility is not niche, it is necessary.

But for real, I just wanted to share some appreciation and real life examples of my gratitude for Canadian healthcare access and healthcare workers.
